Dr. Sanjana Nagraj

Dr. Sanjana Nagraj earned her M.B.B.S. degree from Anna Medical College in Mauritius, after which she completed her internship at Hindu Rao Hospital, North DMC Medical College in India. She subsequently pursued residency training in Internal Medicine at NYC Health + Hospitals/Jacobi. Currently, she is a Cardiology fellow at Montefiore Medical Center, Albert Einstein College of Medicine, New York City, NY, USA.
Dr. Nagraj is an active member of the American College of Cardiology and is deeply engaged in clinical research focusing on disparities in cardiovascular outcomes, heart failure and transplant, and women's cardiovascular health. Her academic interests also encompass health equity in heart failure, the advancement of women in cardiology, and the enhancement of medical education.
